Soneva Fushi Resort, the first "Robinson Crusoe" style hideaway in the Maldives, is set on the privately owned, uninhibited, tropical paradise island of Kunfunadhoo. Soneva Fushi is situated in the Baa Atoll, north of Male' Atoll. There are 19 atolls that stretch over 800 kilometers made up of the 1,190 islands which are the Maldives.
 
 The island is accessible by a scenic 25 minute float plane flight from Male', the capital of the Republic of Maldives.
 Kunfunadhoo at 1,400 meters long and almost 400 meters wide, is one of the largest islands in the Maldives. Apart from the crystal clear waters, for which the Maldives is world-renowned, the island's unusually rich vegetation provides a unique natural experience. Villas and rooms are scattered along the beach and tucked into the lush greenery, providing the ultimate in privacy.

Each villa has the luxuries found in the best hotels. However, whilst offering all these modern day facilities, the utmost care has been given to make the resort environment-friendly, and to reflect the dream of a Robinson Crusoe experience. Thus, the hairdryer is hidden in the drawer of a coconut wood desk; the minibar, safe, and quadraphonic hi-fi are concealed behind rattan; the TV and DVD are delivered in a water hyacinth basket.

Together with our Executive Chef, the entire Food and Beverage team have the same objective and that is to meet and exceed your expectations.

Dining options at Soneva Fushi are designed to make your stay on Kunfunadhoo diverse, exciting and slightly adventurous. Our Chef and his multi-national brigade of chef's work to produce a combination of dishes that allow the East to meet the West in culinary terms.

Every effort is made to find ingredients of the highest quality and have them delivered to the island and send as pure and fresh as they might have been served at their origin. With this philosophy in mind our menus benefit from the abundance of fresh fish at the Maldives.

To compliment the dining options, we offer a wine list with an international content that covers many recognized and some unrecognized, wine producing countries in both hemispheres. This mixture of new world wines and good French classics offers you the opportunity to fulfill the dining experience despite both cultural and climate challenges.

Welcome to the World of Soleni, Baa Atoll's longest established diving centre. Our multi-lingual staff, speaking English, French, German, Italian and Japanese, and our small dive groups ensure that you get the best attention at all times. Whether you have always wanted to take that first breath underwater, learn to dive or are a certified scuba diver, we can cater to your needs.

We have over 30 dive sites to tempt you with and provide not only daily diving but also full day trips to those sites a little further away. All you need to do is relax and enjoy!
