Surrounded by beautiful which sandy beaches merging into a huge sandbank of 80 meters Veligandu is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday. Veligandu is situated in Rasdhoo Atoll in North Ari Atoll, about 50 km from Male’ International Airport. A short scenic flight of 15 minutes, which offers you breathtaking views of emerald Maldivian islands and reefs, will take you right to the edge of the famous sandbank. |

Accommodation: The resort offers three choices of accommodation: secluded Over Water villas, beach-fronted Superior Bungalows and Deluxe Bungalows. Although different in size, design and the location, all bungalows & Villas offer comfortable accommodation and are air-conditioned with ceiling fan, and equipped with IDD telephone, mini-bar, personal safe, CD Player and en suite bathroom with hot and cold water, showers and shaver points. Deluxe Bungalows and Superior Bungalows are furnished with a third bed, making it especially convenient for a family with a child to accommodate. |

Entertainment: Your holiday at Veligandu may be one of relaxation mixed with fun and activity. The choice is yours. Veligandu offers a variety of non-motorized water sports, a selection of land sports, in addition to the several dive courses, snorkeling and fishing and sightseeing excursions. Beach volleyball and badminton are some of the options available for an afternoon of fun and enjoyment. Often mixed teams of guests and staff join in and provide an exciting afternoon for the players as well as the onlookers. Or enjoy a more relaxing game of table tennis, Pool and Soccer Ball Game any time you feel like it. Thatched pathways connect the table tennis hall to the bar and the reception. |
